I’m Kia, the founder, and owner of Aspen River Financial.
I’ve been through it all…… It all goes back to when I was working for an accounting practice. I loved talking with the clients about accounting and tax every day, visiting their businesses, but something inside was missing. It was like that movie “Groundhog Day” I was doing the same thing year after year and wasn’t feeling fulfilled working there anymore. Have you had an itch inside you to do more and be more?
And I was able to come out of it with….. I left the accounting practice and started up Aspen River Financial to provide accounting and tax services for individuals and small businesses with an educational approach.
Now it’s my turn to help you not only move past the challenges more quickly but also help you grow your business smarter and with a better strategy.

MY PASSION FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
I am your Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent with a passion for educating small business owners about their accounting, taxation, and business planning one on one. I was born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and attended Colorado State University, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
I have been in public accounting for over 7 years; prior to this, I worked in the private industry as a Full-Service Bookkeeper and Controller. I have vast experience in bookkeeping and accounting skills in industries including retail, accommodation, food services, and professional services.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my family, beekeeping, and working on the ranch.
